GRRR!! Damn it! I am sick of petty people. My moms group I am on, this young mom posted about a medical issue she had with her pregnancy. People gave her advice, then this new lady posted her experience with it, which was (in my opinion) pretty scary. I emailed the new lady and said, Wow that was pretty scary, do you think you could edit it a little bit so you don't totally freak the pregnant mom out? She didn't agree with me that it was scary, just honest, but she edited. And she ALSO wrote that someone asked her to, and made a stinking deal of out it to the whole board. NICE. DAMN IT! The reason I emailed her privately was to not make a big deal out of it and not involve the whole community in one tiny issue. I even told the lady I was asking her a favor. I did it for the pregnant mom not to get all worried and freaked out.
FORGET IT! Sometimes it just doesn't pay to try to help other people out, because someone will get pissed off and act all petty about it.

I was going to wait and talk to you about this tonight, but then I saw you blogged it. I was glad you said something, it seemed like she was using scare tactics to me too. And there's some other stuff that's been bugging me, but I haven't found the right words to say anything about it yet. Oooh, I'm curious about what the comment said that you deleted, heh heh *insert eyebrow-wiggling smiley guy here*
The first comment was deleted by whoever wrote it. I am not sure who that was or what the comment was. Maybe it is better that way. :)
I know EXACTLY what you mean. I was in the MOMS Club also and well lets just say I was so tired of it that I quit. Never to return. I did meet a few good seeds but the rest I threw back to the wolves. Sucks you had to go through that.
The first comment that was deleted was from me, so it's nothing too exciting. I just asked which thread it was because I couldn't find it. Then I figured out which one it was and deleted, somewhat because I was embarrassed for being so nosy! I forgot that it was going to show that a comment was deleted and look all juicy and suspicious.
I agree with Alissa...a couple things on there have been bugging me a little bit too.
